An interactive installation about experimental literatur.
This was my thesis at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. The user selects words taken from an existing poem to construct new versions. While playing with language and sound, the possibilities and the magic of words are revealed. The concept and the technique of the reconstruction of an original poem by Fontane was inspired by the ideas of »Oulipo« (Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle), a group of French poets. The clip shows one of 90 unique animations that are combined throughout the process of reconstructing the poem. Developed and presented in 2004.
